Filipino lifter squatting in a classic free-weight gym

Gold’s Gym has been part of the Philippine fitness scene for decades. It is the gym many of us grew up hearing about, with branches across Metro Manila and key cities and a reputation for serious free-weight training. If you are planning to sign up, here is what a Gold’s Gym Philippines membership costs and what you get for it.

Gold’s Gym Philippines Membership Rates

Gold’s Gym does not post a single national price list online, and rates can vary by branch. These are the most recent regular (non-promo) rates published for 2025:

MembershipRegular rate
1 month₱2,800 to ₱3,500
3 months₱8,400
6 months₱15,400
12 months₱28,000

Last published regular rates (2025). Confirm current pricing with your branch or on the official Gold’s Gym Philippines website before paying.

Visit-Based Plans

Gold’s has also offered plans based on a set number of visits instead of unlimited access. Older published examples include 12-month plans with 96 or 144 visits to your home branch plus a few visits to other branches, priced well below the unlimited annual rate. If you only train three times a week, ask whether a visit-based plan is available. It can save you a lot.

How the Rates Have Moved

For reference, the 2019 to 2020 rates were ₱3,800 for one month, ₱8,400 for three months, ₱16,500 for six months and ₱28,000 for an unlimited year. Long-term plans have stayed remarkably stable, which makes the 6- and 12-month options the better value.

What’s Included

  • Use of the gym floor: free weights, machines and cardio equipment.
  • Group classes such as dance, bootcamp and conditioning (schedules vary per branch).
  • Lockers and shower facilities; some branches also have sauna or steam rooms.
  • Complimentary personal training sessions on some longer plans, depending on the branch promo.

How to Get a Better Price

  1. Check for corporate tie-ups. Gold’s Gym has historically partnered with companies for discounted rates. Ask your HR.
  2. Watch deal sites. One-month and three-month memberships regularly show up at steep discounts on group-buying platforms. Check which branches honor them first.
  3. Pay for longer terms only when you’re sure. The 12-month rate is the best value per month, but only if you will actually show up.
  4. Ask about installment. Longer plans can usually be paid in full or in monthly installments via credit card.

Is Gold’s Gym Worth It?

If you want a full-size gym with plenty of free weights, racks and an old-school lifting atmosphere, Gold’s is still one of the best options. Just remember that a premium gym won’t fix a random program. Show up with a plan.

Here is the honest truth from a coach: the gym you pick matters far less than the plan you follow inside it. If you want a program built around your schedule, your budget and the gym you can actually get to, work with an online fitness coach in the Philippines and make every peso of that membership count.
